Marta Reuter

Marta Reuter is a Senior Lecturer at Stockholm University's Department of Political Science and an affiliated researcher at the Stockholm Center for Civil Society Studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Humboldt University Berlin (2007). Her research focuses on civil society organizations as political actors in Sweden and transnational contexts, governance issues, and relationships between organizational spheres in society.

Her research explores:

• Think tanks as new organizational actors in civil society
• Audit practices in Swedish elderly care
• Governance chains in welfare service-producing CSOs
• Transnationalization of Swedish popular movements

She serves as co-convenor of the EGOS Standing Group on Organizing in and Through Civil Society (2019-2022), editorial board member of Nonprofit Policy Forum, and scientific council member of Ideell Arena think tank. She regularly lectures in executive education programs for civil society leaders.
