Marta Gonzalez Alvarez

Marta Gonzalez Alvarez serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering at Miguel Hernández University of Elche, Spain, with her academic focus centered on Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology. She holds a Senate membership (Sector 1) and maintains active teaching roles across undergraduate, master's, and continuing education programs while contributing to the university's governance.

Her research concentrates on biopharmaceutic optimization and biopredictive dissolution methodologies, particularly for dermopharmaceutical and oral medication development. As a member of the dedicated research group in this field, she investigates advanced drug delivery systems and dissolution testing protocols to enhance pharmaceutical product efficacy and safety.

Professor Gonzalez Alvarez coordinates multiple courses including Dermopharmacy and Galenics III for the Bachelor's in Pharmacy, Development of Oral Medication for the Master's in Biotechnology and Bioengineering, and leads the Master of Continuing Education in Dermopharmacy and Cosmetics (Editions VII and VIII) covering cosmetic regulations, product formulation, and dermatological services.
