Marta Cuervo Zapatel

Marta Cuervo Zapatel is a Full Professor in Health Sciences at the University of Navarra, affiliated with the Faculty of Pharmacy and Nutrition and the Department of Food Sciences and Physiology. She teaches Human Nutrition and Dietetics (HND), supervises Final Degree Projects, Final Master's Projects, and doctoral theses, and coordinates undergraduate courses. She is part of the Center for Nutrition Research (CIN) and leads the "Personalized Nutrition and Metabolic Syndrome" group (NUPERMET).

• PhD in Food Sciences and Physiology (2008)

Her research focuses on personalized nutrition, metabolic syndrome, and dietary interventions, particularly in geriatric populations. She has published 64 scientific articles (47 with impact factor) and contributed to editorial boards and peer review for nutrition journals. She holds a European patent and has co-authored books and chapters in her field. Marta has supervised four completed doctoral theses, one ongoing, and advised over 50 students academically.
