Marta Caccamo

Marta Caccamo is a lecturer at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) in Sweden and an affiliated researcher at the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO). She completed her PhD at JIBS in 2020 with a dissertation titled "Cross-boundary knowledge work in innovation: Understanding the role of space and objects".

Research Focus: Her research interests center on innovation and entrepreneurship, with particular attention to three main areas: the material dimension of collaborative innovation; team dynamics in new (mainly corporate) ventures; and human capital and property rights in the governance of entrepreneurial firms. Her work explores how physical spaces and objects facilitate knowledge integration and innovation processes, particularly in entrepreneurial and corporate contexts.

Teaching and Supervision: Marta teaches courses on creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation at JIBS. She is actively involved in supervising master theses within the Digital Business Master program, contributing to the development of future business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Research Publications: Her scholarly work spans innovation management, entrepreneurship, and organizational studies. Recent publications include systematic reviews on boundary objects and knowledge integration, studies on leveraging innovation spaces for collaborative work, and investigations into networking challenges faced by entrepreneurs in creative industries. Her research increasingly focuses on the intersection of physical spaces, material culture, and innovation processes.
