Marta Bryan

Marta Bryan is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, affiliated with the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics and the Dunlap Institute for Astronomy & Astrophysics. Her research focuses on planet formation and evolution, exoplanet atmospheres, and advanced observational techniques. She will transition to Penn State University in 2026.

• Education: Ph.D. (2018) from Caltech.

Her research explores exoplanetary obliquities, ultra-hot Jupiter atmospheric dynamics, and substellar dynamos. She leads a research group utilizing high-resolution spectroscopy and high-contrast imaging to study these phenomena.
