Dr. Marsaili MacLeod is Vice Principal and Director of Studies at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, University of the Highlands and Islands, where she oversees academic affairs including teaching, research, and student services. Her scholarship focuses on Gaelic revitalization through adult language acquisition and language policy.
MacLeod's research examines:
- Pedagogical strategies for endangered languages
- Socio-cultural dimensions of language shift
- Community-based language planning
