Marom Bikson

Marom Bikson is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at The City College of New York (CCNY), part of the CUNY system. He is affiliated with the Center for Discovery and Innovation and serves as co-director of Neural Engineering at CCNY and the New York Center for Biomedical Engineering. His research focuses on electrical stimulation's effects on the human body, with applications in medical device development, neurological disorder treatments, and electrical safety guidelines. He holds a PhD from Case Western Reserve University (2000) and a B.S. from Johns Hopkins University (1995).

Research interests include medical device innovation (e.g., biosensors, electrotherapy), electrical safety protocols, spinal cord and transcranial stimulation, and treatments for epilepsy and depression.
