Prof. Dr. Maroeska Rovers serves as the Scientific Director of the Technical Medical Centre (TechMed) at the University of Twente and holds a professorship at Radboud University Medical Center, where she specializes in medical technology and innovation. Additionally, she directs Health Innovation Netherlands (HI-NL) and contributes to international initiatives including EXCITE International's Scientific Advisory Board, the IDEAL collaboration, and the EU IHI program's Science and Innovation Panel.
Her visionary interdisciplinary research spans surgery, epidemiology, health technology assessment, biomedical sciences, and health policy. Driven by a commitment to develop effective, affordable healthcare innovations, she focuses on translating breakthroughs into practical tools that improve global patient care and medical practice.
