Marli Kakishima

Marli Kakishima is a Teaching Professor at Antioch University Los Angeles, specializing in the Spiritual and Depth Psychology Specialization within the Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology Program. She holds a BA in Music from the University of Sao Paulo and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University LA. Her work focuses on interdependence in psychological well-being, integrating biopsychosocial and spiritual variables through multidisciplinary approaches for preventive care, existential meaning restoration, and recovery. She also contributes to international education initiatives, including the Japanese Approaches to Mindfulness and Mental Health course launched in Kyoto during Winter 2013.
