Markus Schieferdecker

Prof. Markus Schieferdecker is a Jazz double bass professor at the University of the Arts Bremen. He holds a summa cum laude degree from Cologne University of Music and completed a master class there in 2004. His career includes membership in Albert Mangelsdorff's German-French Jazz Ensemble and collaborations with renowned jazz musicians such as Ron Carter and Clark Terry. He leads projects like 'Asteroid 7881' and regularly performs globally.
