Prof. Dr. Markus List is a Professor of Data Science in Systems Biology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), affiliated with the TUM School of Life Sciences. His research focuses on integrating data science with systems biology to understand gene regulatory mechanisms across genomic levels. He leads the Big Data in Biomedicine group and has held roles including Group Leader at the Chair of Experimental Bioinformatics (2018–2023) and PostDoc at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics (2015–2018).
