Marko Lubarda

Marko Lubarda is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the Jacobs School of Engineering, University of California San Diego (UCSD). He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from UCSD (2012) and has held academic roles including Assistant Professor at the University of Donja Gorica (Montenegro, 2013–2019), visiting scholar at UCSD’s Center for Memory and Recording Research, and invited professorships at the University of Lorraine (France). His work focuses on engineering pedagogy, curriculum design, and educational innovations, alongside research in mechanics, materials science, computational methods, and magnetic nanotechnologies.
