Dr. Mark Wheaton is a Senior Lecturer and Head of the School of Business at British University Vietnam (BUV) since 2024. He previously served as Academic Director of Accounting at Kaplan Business School, Australia (2017-2022) and Head of Accounting Programs at RMIT Vietnam. With a PhD in Business Administration (University of Newcastle, 2016) and a Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching (RMIT, 2014), his work focuses on enhancing student engagement in accounting education through innovative pedagogical approaches.

- Joint teaching effectiveness in international accounting programs
As an experienced educator, he has presented at academic conferences including the ASEAN Accounting Education Conference and Paris Financial Management Conference. His career spans Australia, Singapore, France, and Vietnam, including roles in government, banking, and private accounting practice before transitioning to academia.
