Professor Mark Toleman is a Professor of Information Systems in the School of Business at the University of Southern Queensland. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Queensland and an MSc in Mathematics from James Cook University. His academic roles include former Head of the School of Information Systems (2007–2013) and Chair of the Academic Board (2006–2012). He is a member of prominent organizations such as the Australian Computer Society and the Association for Information Systems.
