Mark T. Hauser

Mark T. Hauser is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at the University of South Florida. His scholarly work intersects American cultural history, business practices, and military studies, focusing on the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

His research examines how U.S. Army welfare programs during World War I influenced mass culture, production systems, and consumption patterns. Current projects include a contracted book manuscript with Johns Hopkins University Press.
