Mark Stephens

Dr. Mark Stephens is Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Associate Dean for Academic Administration at Union University's College of Pharmacy. A board-certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, his clinical expertise includes pharmacist-managed clinics for anticoagulation, hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia management. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Stephens accumulated extensive clinical experience at Regional Medical Center Hospital in Memphis and leadership roles in managed care organizations.

His scholarship focuses on innovative pharmacy education models and experiential learning, including the development of advanced practice experiences integrating drug design and synthesis laboratories. Current responsibilities include oversight of academic programs and experiential education within the College of Pharmacy curriculum.
