Mark Schoofs

Mark Schoofs is an Associate Professor of Journalism at the USC Annenberg School of Journalism, leading investigative journalism programming. With a 30-year career, he has held roles including editor of The Windy City Times, reporter at The Village Voice and The Wall Street Journal, and founder of BuzzFeed News' investigative team. His work focuses on global issues like LGBTQ+ rights, AIDS crisis, and exploitative labor practices.
