Mark Sanders is the EDIE Program Director and a Distinguished Service Professor at Carnegie Mellon University's Integrated Innovation Institute (iii). He holds expertise in deeptech innovation, circular economy, and startup strategy, with a focus on leveraging technology for societal impact. Prior roles include Gemini Chair in Engineering Entrepreneurship at the University of Minnesota, Deputy Director of the Austin Technology Incubator, and founder of an environmental remediation company.
