Mark S. Bianchi, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery (Otolaryngology) at Yale School of Medicine. Board Certified in Otolaryngology Surgery and Sleep Medicine, he specializes in advanced, minimally invasive surgical treatments for sleep breathing disturbances, nasal/sinus issues, and obstructive sleep apnea, including balloon sinuplasty and hypoglossal nerve stimulator implantation.
His research focuses on ultrasound measurement of upper airway in sleep apnea patients and sleep architecture in patients with pituitary tumors. He earned his MD from Yale University in 1991 and completed residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in 1996.
