Mark Ropeleski

Mark Ropeleski is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Queen's University's School of Medicine. His research and clinical work focus on Digestive Diseases, Kidney-Related Disorders, and Endocrinology, with a specialization in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). He also leads the home parenteral nutrition program and serves as Program Director for the Gastroenterology Residency Training Program.

• Education: Graduated from McGill University (1993), trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, and completed research training at the University of Chicago.

His research interests span clinical medicine, gastroenterology, and endocrinology, with a focus on improving diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in digestive health. He is affiliated with the Translational Institute of Medicine (TIME) at Queen's University.
