Mark Nixon

Mark Nixon is Professor in Computer Vision at the University of Southampton's School of Electronics and Computer Science. He is renowned for pioneering work in gait recognition, funded by DARPA, and for developing techniques in static/moving shape extraction applied to biometrics and medical imaging. His research spans biometric fusion, anti-spoofing, and computer vision methodologies.
