Mark Miller is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science at Marietta College, with an affiliate appointment in the McDonough Center for Leadership & Business. He also serves as Chair of the Art Department. Appointed in 1999, he chaired the Mathematics & Computer Science Department (2004–2011) and served as Associate Provost (2011–2020 and 2022–2024). He acted as Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost (Dec 2014–June 2015).
His expertise spans combinatorics, finite geometry, and interdisciplinary studies at the intersection of mathematics, philosophy, religion, and leadership. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado at Denver (1999), an MS (1993) from the same institution, and a BSE in Mathematics from John Brown University (1984).
