Mark Mason

Mark Mason is a Lecturer in Animation at the School of Arts and Media. With over 35 years of industry experience since 1985, he specializes in 2D animation, directing, storyboarding, and character design. His professional roles include Animator, Series Director, and Visual Gag Writer, with notable expertise in children’s television, commercials, and character licensing.

Mark transitioned to academia in 2014, contributing his industry knowledge to teaching. His research interests focus on animation production techniques and creative storytelling methodologies.
