Mark Jessell is a Professor and Western Australian Fellow at the School of Earth and Oceans, University of Western Australia. He leads the WAXI & SAXI Projects and co-leads the MinEx CRC's Automated 3D Geological Modelling Project with Dr. Mark Lindsay. His research focuses on tectonics, metallogenesis, and 3D geological modelling, particularly in the West African and Guyanese Cratons. He has developed open-source QGIS plugins for geological analysis and digital mapping, including Map2Loop and GEOL-QMAPS.
