Mark Ingham

Dr. Mark Ingham is a Reader in Critical and Nomadic Pedagogies at the University of the Arts London (UAL), where he co-chairs the Professoriate and leads the Experimental Pedagogies Research Group (EPRG). He is also the founder of the Nomadic Detective Agency (NDA), a speculative research-atelier exploring radical teaching methods.

His research intersects creative practice, critical theory, and experimental education, focusing on Deleuze/Guattari-inspired pedagogies, rhizomatic learning, and autobiographical memory. His artistic installations, such as 120 Days and Nights of Staggering and Stammering, interrogate fragmented narratives through interactive light projections.

Mark has mentored over 50 staff to achieve Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and supervised 20+ PhD students (9 completions). He advocates for inclusive education, particularly for dyslexic academics, and has delivered keynotes internationally on creative learning.
