Mark Holton

Dr. Mark Holton is an Associate Professor in Human Geography at the School of Geography, Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Plymouth. His research focuses on how young people's sense of belonging intersects with place, identity, and wellbeing, exploring implications for urban design and policy. He has supervised multiple PhD candidates and contributes to teaching in social/cultural geography, planning, and urban studies.
