Mark Foreman

Mark Foreman is an Associate Professor at Chalmers University of Technology, affiliated with the Energy and Materials School within the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. His research focuses on nuclear chemistry and industrial materials recycling, including the safe management of hazardous wastes and sustainable resource recovery. He has a particular interest in nuclear reactor accident chemistry, radioactive waste treatment, and novel separations in the nuclear fuel cycle. His work addresses challenges in recycling polymers, metals, and materials from sources like batteries and solar cells, emphasizing environmental and financial sustainability.
