Mark Farrar

Dr. Mark Farrar is a Senior Lecturer in Photobiology at the Division of Musculoskeletal & Dermatological Sciences, University of Manchester. He holds an Honorary Clinical Photobiologist position at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (since 2022). His research focuses on vitamin D synthesis, DNA damage from UV radiation, photoprotection strategies, and skin aging, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.
