About
Dr. Mark F Hagen is an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol. His research focuses on geometric group theory, hyperbolic geometry, and cube complexes. He has contributed extensively to understanding hierarchically hyperbolic spaces, CAT(0) cube complexes, and their applications to group automorphisms and 3-manifold groups.
His recent work examines combinatorial structures of hierarchically hyperbolic spaces through projection complexes, barycentric mapping, and acylindrical hyperbolicity. Articles highlight quasi-isometric rigidity, convex-cocompact subgroups, and non-colorable group structures.
