Mark Edward Ruff

Mark Edward Ruff is a Professor and Chair of the Department of History at Saint Louis University's College of Arts and Sciences. Specializing in Modern European History, his research examines Nazi Germany, Cold War religious tensions, and the interplay between Catholicism and political culture.

Ruff’s work focuses on postwar German religious history, confessional divides, and historical memory.
