Mark Doescher

Dr. Mark Doescher is Professor in Family and Preventive Medicine at the University of Oklahoma and Associate Director for Community Outreach and Engagement at Stephenson Cancer Center. His research addresses cancer disparities, rural/tribal health initiatives, and implementation science.

Current projects focus on tobacco control in American Indian populations, lung cancer screening access in rural communities, and financial hardship interventions for cancer patients. His work employs mixed-methods approaches to develop culturally responsive healthcare solutions.
