Dr. Mark David Vincent is Associate Professor in Medical Oncology at the University of Western Ontario and medical oncologist at the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre. Trained at University of Cape Town and Royal Marsden Hospital, he specializes in lung/gastrointestinal cancers and translational research.
Clinical Research: His laboratory investigates cytotoxic drug resistance reversal through gene therapy and small-molecule approaches. He designs/conducts clinical trials focused on toxicity minimization and chemopotentiation strategies.
Teaching Recognition: Awarded Excellence in Teaching (2004) for contributions to medical education at Western Ontario.
Publications: Scholarly work spans chemotherapy optimization, toxicity management protocols, and novel therapeutic combinations for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
