Mariusz Lamentowicz

Professor Mariusz Lamentowicz is a leading expert in wetland ecology and palaeoecology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. As Head of the Climate Change Ecology Research Unit, he focuses on peatland ecosystems, particularly their functional diversity and responses to climate and anthropogenic disturbances. His work integrates multi-proxy analyses, lipid biomarkers, and historical data to understand long-term ecological changes and inform conservation strategies.
