Mariusz Białecki is a Polish sculptor born in 1966 in Sztum, associated with the Faculty of Sculpture and Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk since graduating in 1991. His practice focuses on transforming collected objects into sculptures, using auto-commentary to deform their original purpose.
Research Interests: His work explores spatial narratives through public monuments, material transformation, and contextual art rooted in his birthplace's landscape. Key projects include equestrian monuments, Holocaust memorials, and installations like Repozytorium (2016-2024) and Buttonarium (2016-2024).

- First Prize in national competition for Monument of Casimir the Great in Bydgoszcz (2002)
- First Prize in national competition for figure of Adam Loret (2007)
- First Prize in national competition for John Paul II at Westerplatte monument (2011-2015)
