Marita Rautiainen

Marita Rautiainen is an Associate Professor at LUT University, Finland, and an affiliated researcher at the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) at Jönköping University. She co-directs the Entrepreneurship Master’s program within the School of Energy Science at LUT University, where she teaches growth management and strategic ownership courses.

Her research centers on family business group dynamics with focused expertise in ownership structures, entrepreneurial strategies, innovation processes, and organizational development. Leveraging over twenty years of hands-on entrepreneurship experience spanning family business operations and self-employment, she integrates practical insights into academic frameworks. This dual perspective informs her examination of strategic ownership transitions and group-level business evolution.

She actively contributes to policy development as a member of expert advisory groups across multiple entrepreneurship organizations, participating in specialized working groups addressing ownership governance and entrepreneurial ecosystem development.
