Mario Tesini

Mario Tesini is a Full Professor of History of Political Thought at the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Cultural Enterprises, University of Parma. He has held academic positions at the Universities of Rome Tor Vergata and Pavia, serving as Director of the Department of Political and Social Studies at Parma (2011-2012). His research focuses on political doctrines, constitutional theory, and national identity.

• Education: PhD in History of Political Doctrines and Institutions - Philosophy of Politics (La Sapienza University of Rome); Graduate, Faculty of Political Science (University of Bologna).

His scholarly work analyzes revolutionary dynamics, power theories, and ideological extremism. Tesini contributes to journals such as Storia del Pensiero politico and serves on the AISDP Board of Directors. He directs the De Cive Laboratory for the History of Political Thought at Parma.

Teaching spans undergraduate programs in Political Studies, Philosophical Studies, and International Relations, including courses on National Cultures, European Identity, and Political Thought.
