Dr. Mario Fernando is a Professor of Management at the University of Wollongong’s Faculty of Business and Law, and Director of the Centre for Cross-Cultural Management. He holds a Visiting Fellow appointment at Cornell University (2023–2024). His research focuses on responsible leadership, AI ethics, business ethics, and cross-cultural management. Fernando has secured significant funding, including a 2025–2028 Dubai Future Fund project exploring AI literacy and trust (Yathiqu). He has also led DFAT-funded initiatives on fashion business and ethical practices.
