Marija Andjelkovic

Marija Anđelković is a Professor at Singidunum University’s Faculty of Physical Culture and Management in Sports, with expertise in Sports Nutrition, Clinical Pharmacology, and High Altitude Physiology. She holds leadership roles in global anti-doping initiatives as President of the Anti-Doping Commission of the International Mountaineering and Climbing Federation and former Coordinator of RTG/TUE at Serbia’s Anti-Doping Agency (2008-2023).

• Doctoral studies: Experimental and Applied Physiology with Sports Medicine, University of Kragujevac - Faculty of Medical Sciences (2009-2016)
• Specialist studies: Clinical Pharmacology, University of Kragujevac - Faculty of Medical Sciences (2012-2020)

Her research focuses on nutritional strategies for athletes, anti-doping compliance, high-altitude physiology, and oxidative stress in sports. She developed a nutrition program for 300+ professional athletes and contributed to UIAA Medical Commission guidelines on women’s health at high altitudes.

Scientific contributions include the IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition (2011-2012) and leadership in anti-doping agencies. Current work involves high-altitude medicine, supplementation safety, and gender-specific physiological challenges in sports.
