Marie Schnell

Marie Schnell is a Researcher at the School of Engineering Science, University of Skövde. Her work focuses on manufacturing challenges, particularly the implementation of collaborative robots (cobots) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and the alignment of production systems with sustainability goals like Produktion2030's industrial challenge areas. She contributes to advancing automation and innovation within manufacturing sectors.

Her research has explored barriers to cobot adoption in SMEs, the relationship between industry conferences and strategic production goals, and sustainable production methodologies. She has published in conference proceedings such as the Swedish Production Symposium (SPS) and authored a thesis on collaborative robot challenges in manufacturing.
