Marie-Michelle Strah is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of International Criminal Justice at City University of New York John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is also a Visiting Scholar at the John Jay Center for International Human Rights, where she co-leads the Artificial Intelligence Team. Her expertise spans cybersecurity, cybercrime, disinformation, AI ethics, human rights, and transnational organized crime. She teaches courses such as ICJ 380, ICJ 101, ICJ 700, ICJ 750, and ICJ 726, and has been recognized with the 2022 Distinguished Teaching Prize and the 2021 Digital Innovation Award.
Her educational background includes a Ph.D. from Cornell University, an M.A. from CUNY John Jay College, and dual B.A. degrees from Miami University. She is fluent in French and English.
