Dr. Marie-Fanny Racault is a Lecturer in Marine Ecology and Research Fellow at UEA's School of Environmental Sciences, with affiliations to the Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Conservation, and ClimateUEA. Her research integrates satellite data, climate models, and AI to study climate impacts on marine ecosystems and carbon cycles.
As IPCC AR6 Working Group 2 Lead Author, she contributed to the Oceans and Coastal Ecosystems chapter and Summary for Policymakers. Current research focuses on PlankTOM model development, investigating marine viruses and ecosystem stability in changing climates.
