Mariana Macedo

Mariana Macedo is an Assistant Professor in Data Science at Northeastern University London, affiliated with the CoMENS Faculty and the Data and AI department. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Exeter (2022), and B.Sc./M.Sc. degrees in Computer Engineering from the University of Pernambuco (2016/2017), with additional studies at Pace University through Brazil’s Scientific Mobility Program. Her research focuses on Human Dynamics, Gender/Socioeconomic Inequalities, and Data-Driven Applications within Complex Systems.
