Mariam Wallet Aboubakrine

Mariam Wallet Aboubakrine is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Civil Law, specializing in Indigenous legal frameworks and international law. She also serves as Co-Principal Investigator of the Ărramăt Project, President of Association Tinhinan, and Chair of the Board of Directors at Land is Life. Her career bridges medicine, human rights advocacy, and academia, driven by her Tuareg heritage and experiences of displacement in Mali.
