Mariam Alessa is a part-time lecturer at the University of Western Australia's School of Population and Global Health, while serving as a Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist at Kuwait's Ministry of Health and a Research Scholar at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Department of Vascular Surgery.
