Maria Vicenta Alcantara Lopez

Maria Vicenta Alcantara Lopez is a Professor at the Department of Personality, Psychological Assessment and Treatment within the Faculty of Psychology and Speech Therapy at the Universidad de Murcia. She completed her doctoral studies at the same institution with a thesis titled Las víctimas invisibles afectación psicológica en menores expuestos a violencia de género (2010), supervised by Dr. Carmen María García Montalvo, Dr. Concepción López Soler, and Dr. Juan José López García.

Her research focuses on clinical psychology with an emphasis on childhood and adolescence, particularly addressing the psychological impact of gender-based violence on minors. She is affiliated with the GUIIA-PC research group (Research Group Childhood and Adolescence-Clinical Psychology).
