Maria Tice

Maria Tice, PhD, RN, PHN, CNE is an Associate Professor at St. Catherine University's Nursing department, teaching in both graduate and undergraduate programs. She holds an MSN in Nursing Education from St. Catherine University and a PhD in Nursing Education from the University of Northern Colorado.

With over 20 years of clinical experience in mental health, pediatrics, geriatrics, and school nursing, combined with 10 years as a nurse educator and clinical instructor, her work bridges clinical practice and education. Her research focuses on developing nursing competencies, particularly mental health nursing and intercultural competency, and explores nursing as a spiritual practice.
