Maria-Rosa Ardigo-Besnard

Maria-Rosa Ardigo-Besnard is a Lecturer at the University of Burgundy, affiliated with the ICB Laboratory (Institut Carnot de Bourgogne) where she conducts research in metallurgical processes and materials science. She is based at the Marey Institute House of Metallurgy in room R05.

Her primary research interests focus on the relationship between process, microstructure, and durability of materials, with specific expertise in powder metallurgy, phase transformations, and high-temperature oxidation phenomena. Her work particularly examines materials produced through spark plasma sintering (SPS) and hot isostatic pressing (HIP) techniques.
