The late Maria Rosa Antognazza was Professor of Philosophy at King's College London and a member of the Academia Europaea. She specialized in Leibniz studies, early modern philosophy, and philosophy of religion. Her career included British Academy and Leverhulme fellowships, and she served as Head of Philosophy at King's College (2011-2015) and President of the British Society for Philosophy of Religion (2019-2022).
Research Focus: Her scholarship centered on historical and conceptual analysis of philosophical traditions, with particular expertise in Leibniz's theology and epistemology. Major works include intellectual biographies and critical editions of early modern texts.
