Maria Lohan

Maria Lohan is a Professor at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Queen's University Belfast, holding the UNESCO Chair in Gender Equality. She serves as a WHO consultant for Sexual and Reproductive Health Research and leads international initiatives like the UNFPA/UNESCO Global Partnership Forum. Her work spans systematic reviews, randomized trials, and policy consultations across Ireland, UK, Latin America, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
