Maria Laura Guarnieri is a researcher in Civil Procedural Law at the Department of Law, Economics and Sociology, University of Catanzaro, since July 2022. She teaches Civil Procedural Law at the University of Catanzaro, University of Reggio Calabria, and the School of Specialization for Legal Professions at the University of Prague. Since 2016, she has also taught Domestic and International Arbitration Law in the Master's Degree in Law program and at the Carabinieri Officers' School/Tor Vergata University.
Education:
- Graduated with honors in Law (July 2007) from Magna Graecia University
- PhD in Theory of Law and European Legal Order (November 2011) from Magna Graecia University
Research Focus: Civil Procedural Law, Arbitration Law, and European Legal Order, with a particular emphasis on mediation, assisted negotiation, and procedural reforms like the Cartabia Corrective (D.Lgs. 164/2024).
Office Hours: Conducted online via appointments, alternating with Prof. De Propris. Students must schedule meetings through email (marialauraguarnieri@unicz.it) and follow updates on the DiGES website.
Other Affiliations: Previously held a research fellowship (IUS/15 sector) at Magna Graecia University from 2012 to 2018.
